FAQ
Disclaimer: No one has actually asked us these questions. Nobody cares. We just needed something more to put on our website.
Who?
Ten:Nineteen Productions, silly. It's in the title of the website!
What?
We're a teeny-tiny little independent production company with big, huge corporate aspirations of world domination and other such fun things. We make mainly movies and videos, but occasionally some other kind of nonsense gets released from our brains onto the giant, oversaturated sponge that is the internet.
Where?
That would be telling.
When?
Why do you keep asking such brief, non-specific questions?
Why?
This is a philosophical question. This website is not intended to discuss philosophy. If you have run across any mention of the subject while on our site, we do apologize.
How?
*ahem* Well... it's like this. When a man and a woman love each other very much - WOAH, WOAH! Did I just start to make that joke? I profusely apologize.
What equipment and software do you use to make your videos?
My current camera is the Canon HV30. Everything before "Da Wood" was shot with the Panasonic PV-GS300. I also use the Rode VideoMic during filming and "in the studio" with Lil' Brum. More recently, I have begun using an M-Audio Producer USB mic when recording voice overs and such.
I edit with Sony Vegas on a custom-built PC running Windows 7 (surprise, surprise, not a Mac). For audio I work in Vegas, ACID, and Audacity. For graphics I use GIMP, Paint.NET, and Inkscape. I ham fistedly threw together "The Star that Wanted to Be a Planet" in Flash.
Does the name "10:19 Productions" have any significance?
It's a reference to Ecclesiastes 10:19, a Bible verse which says: "A feast is made for laughter, and wine makes life merry, but money is the answer for everything." We thought that was hilarious. The irony of sarcasm in the Bible perfectly describes the style of humor we're trying to get at.
Where can I watch Cheesy Western 3?
Currently CW3 isn't available online. It's only been shown locally to friends and sold on DVD to whoever would buy it. Since I don't have a good method of selling DVDs online right now, it isn't for sale at present either.
There are no current plans to bring CW3 online, but there's been talk of it. If I can secure the permission of everyone involved then it just might happen. But - really - it isn't that good. You don't really want to see it.
Why is it called "Cheesy Western 3?" What happened to 1 & 2?
If you're asking this, you clearly don't get the joke and it wouldn't be worth explaining to you. It's no good explaining a joke. That takes all the humor out of it.
